What is a site visit?
Site visits typically happen in the middle of your first work-term as an opportunity for your Co-op Coordinator to see students in their work environment, meet supervisors, and discuss performance expectations to help set you for success.
Students enrolled in the co-op/internship program are required to complete a site visit as part of the Pass or Fail grade of the zero credit co-op or internship course.
What do we do in a site visit?
This is an informal meeting, approximately 30 minutes maximum, between you, your supervisor and the Co-op/Internship Coordinator (Marily Molina, Mayolyn Dagsi or Bob Eichvald). Topics of discussion include your adjustment into the workplace, training/support, and accomplishments thus far. With your supervisor’s permission as well as yours, we may take some photos or videos of you in your workplace.
In advance of the site visit, please have your supervisor review the following form:Photo and Video Consent Form
